Monday Monday

I did not have a very productive day. I have to focus on my work. All I really wanted to do was scrapbook. I was able to participate in a Creative Memories confernce call today. WOW I am so enjoying all the different ways that CM is trying to help me make more money. If I make more money, they make more money.

Scrapbooking Sunday

I went out to Panera to have some peace and do some scrapbooking. Always good to get away. Wanted to do some more traditional scrapbooking but I don't have the space right now.

Scrap Happy Day

I had fun sprapbooking today. I started on an album for a family member for Christmas. I want to crop somemore. I may take Pinky (my laptop ) and go to Panera Breads tomorrow and do some digital scrapbooking. I start a class on Web technology on Monday. I also have to schedule time to finish a couple of quilts.

Waiting

Some of us are waiting for the harvest, but we never planted anything. Plant some seeds today.

What does not kill us will make us stronger.

Sometimes things get really hard, but everything happens for a reason. It's important to try not to get bent out of shape because something didn't happen the way you think it should. The next time you are disappointed hang on, something good is on the way.

What's going on today.

This morning on the train I continued to read my new book about blogging by Tara Frey. I have the attention span of a gnat, which is why I do so many crafts. I am half way through the book and it is a very good source for new bloggers. Most books do not hold my attention for long so if I am half way through it's pretty good. I can't wait to see my page evolve. Yes I will be sprucing up this blog of mine.

Today I will be going to lunch with my Japanese friend Nobu. He has been on my jobsite for a year now writing a paper. He is a college professor in his country. He has showered me with pieces of Japanese candy and small gifts all year and now he is leaving. He was very greatful when I helped him get his Washington D.C. drivers lisence. He has invited me to visit his country one day. He plans to return here next summer, it would be ideal if I could go back and visit with him next summer. Or perhaps we can visit New Orleans next summer. We both love jazz and New Orleans.

Scrapbooking Weekend

As I said before I am a Hotel person (ok Ho). Right now I am planning a weekend scrapbooking retreat in Bethany Beach Delaware. The weekend of November 13th. I hope some of my fellow scrappers and friends will join me. The cost will be $220 which will include, breakfast and two lunches, one Saturday and Sunday. It will also include an 8 foot table for each scrapper, water and snacks throughout the weekend. It will also include a goodie bag, and prizes.

I pray that there will be a good response. I had a wonderful time when I went in March. There is a Walgreens next to the hotel and the beach is 2 blocks away.
We will start scrapping at 3pm on Friday through 2pm on Sunday. You may leave your things at your table each night if you want. But of course I can not be responsible in case of rare theft.

What I am doing now.

I am reading a book that I saw my friend Joy had so I bought one. I am enjoying it alot. The book is called Blogging for Bliss Crafting your own Online Journal. I decided to try blogging again and perhaps I can make new friends.

I sing, crochet, knit, quilt, make jewelry, scrapbook, and floral arrange. I am a arts and crafts junky. Right now I mostly scrapbook. I am a Creative Memories Consultant.

I am also a Hotel Ho! I love to go away and stay in nice hotels.
